D16z6 rare?
So for the past year and a half i've been searching for a good d16z6 and haven't came across a single one. so if anyone has one, i'll pay shipping or if you're in texas i'll pick up
I've got a complete super low km one with si tranny sitting in my carport all wrapped up. Bought it many years ago as a backup motor but never needed it. If you come up to Canada, $400 it's yours 😝
Should put this in the WTB section though...

The D16Z6 is rare these days. Supposedly they flow more oil than the D16Y blocks. I have a spare/back up block that I was trying to build, but the I ended up going with a D16Y7 while waiting. You can message me.
Edit: *in Texas*

It says you can’t receive messages. I have a D16Z6 block with original crankshaft (two oil holes per journal), main caps/girdle, and lots of small parts. I waited for a year for this engine to be built but the shop didn’t follow through, so I went with a D16Y7 instead while waiting. I’m in San Antonio- not sure what part of Texas you’re in. You can find D16Y8 cylinder heads easy enough, but it’s difficult to find a D16Z6 block in good condition/not bored out/ no spun bearings, etc.
