So I have to do the head gasket on my 2003 civic Ex. I just got it as a beater daily for my kid, and I was wondering if I should replace the rings as a precaution or just let them be. Car has 141k. No idea what it’s history may be.

haven’t taken it apart just yet so IDK about the carbon on the pistons just yet.
