Default Reference pic request on 2000 accord manual trans

I'm needing a reference pic of where the passenger side cv axle plugs into the transmission, showing the space, if any, between the cv axle and surface of the trans. The best angle will probably be directly below it.

If someone can help me out with this, that would be great. Thanks..

Axle should be right up against the case.
If you are having trouble getting the axle all the way in...
Verify the open end of the cir-clip is at the 12 O'Clock position, so the two ends are in the groove. If the clip is mangled you will have to fix it or replace the cir-clip.
If it is in the 6 O'Clock position the open ends can hang up and not allow the axle to seat.
Use the whole axle like a slide hammer, and shove it into the case.
As long as you can't readily slide the axle back out then it is seated.

Thanks for the reply, i love hearing from experience... so I think I've been overthinking this- the end of the axle has the little shoulder at the base of the spline and the port I'm putting it in doesn't account for that shoulder unless it's area is outside the socket, but up against it, and in the oil seal ring. It locks into position there, but there's still a small gap, it's (the large cup that holds the cv joint and grease) not all the way against the transmission, which is why I was asking for a reference pic, just to verify its all the way seated.

I did find a great thread on this site finally that talks about this, but I'd still appreciate a reference pic.
