Default Fuel Pump replacement; Walbro 255

Hi, I think my stock fuel pump needs to be replaced soon. Can I replace it with a Walbro 255 for a stock B16a? I'm getting conflicting answers when searching online. Some say you can while others say you can't as it'll run rich.

If everything is stock, I would say a 255 is too much pump. The 190 lph pump (part # GSS-250) is a better choice.
