Tranny fluid full nice and red. Had scan done shows no codes for vss or solenoid. Speedometer and everything else works. Cruise control never has since I bought the car. I'm going to put on new vss. Fluid is new, changed about a month ago Transmission sometimes will shift but now mostly stays in 2 nd and upshifts when it wants to, which is not often.

 

Transmission functionality is greatly affected by engine tune.
Back probe TPS and look for smooth voltage change when opening throttle to WOT.
Faulty TPS will also cause CC non function.
Faulty TPS will also not always set a code, It's still a speed density system, its a bit slow on the self diagnostics.

 

Ok, changed the vss, cleaned the connections and BAM, car shift normal again. !! Thank you everyone for your tips and advice. Going to check screens on sensors again tomorrow and put a magnetic tranny filter on it. Man I was getting a little worried for a moment. Next I'm ordering new shift lock solenoid. This one is working fine but gonna put new on.
