Hey I’m new here used this forum to solve allot of issues I’ve had over the years, but need some help with this one.
It’s for a 1995 eg civic sedan I had a buddy of mine wire truck my entire harness to clean the engine bay up but he decided to hurry and well I got a bunch of shorts so I tore the dash and engine harness out of my coupe parts car and put that in. After doing that I forgot to plug in the 3 plugs to the back of the Harness 1 blue 2 green for the windows and locks etc. before putting them in I had dash cluster lights but no windows or running lights. I ended up finding the plugs up near the dash and plugged them in now I have my windows and locks but no dash lights except check engine, trunk/battery light. All gauges work properly just no back lights once I plugged them in. This has not bothered me due to it being mainly a drag car but since it’s summer friends want to cruise and I need them to see at night. Any help would work I check fuse 19 and no power to it 12 fuse not blown just won’t power cluster 15 hazards work non blown fuse and 24 non blown fuse. Changed the dimmer switch, taped on it and wiggled it. Double checked the plugs on the back of the cluster there all plugged in.

 

How was the tuck done? Did he cut and splice or de pin??

 

Cut and extended but I took the entire harness out the car and put a stock one in

 

Only thing that I can think of is if the two green plugs on the back of the fuse box ( from window harness) could be switched can’t remember if they are same size and don’t want to tear it all out unless I have too
