Default 04 civic m/t cranks, no start

i've read and watch lots of material on this, still haven't solved it.

I started the car, moved it in my driveway, it ran for a minute then quit. hasn't started since.
it doesn't have a history of not starting or stalling.

I have no spark.
normally i don't hear the fuel pump hum when the ignition turns on. i've removed and tested the blue pump relay. i think its good. i've removed the blue pump relay and jumped the connectors. the pump hums and pumps fuel to a collection bucket.
but spark plugs appear dry after attempting to start.

any suggestions ?

That sounds like correct operation for the immobilizer. Should blink 5 times on key off confirming it knows the key.

No spark huh? I assume probably no fuel injector pulse as well? Sounds maybe like no crank position.

regarding the blue fuel pump relay socket jumpers. I'm using one wire to jump the pair of terminals, in the 5pin relay,. this activates the pump. Other 3 are not connected, what impact do those unconnected terminals have, if any?

I've yet to get at the injectors. I did read/see somewhere that disconnecting the crankshaft sensor would allow a start. So ive tried that already.

Do you have 12v at the coils and injectors?

yes, i have 12v at the coil and the injectors. actually it was 11v also noticed the other pin read 8v.

i'll add that i used to have a CEL, p0497 for months. But in the course of my troubleshooting, this has turned off. and i've hadn't seen the CEL light up, even when all the others did, when turning on ignition, making me scratch my head. i just saw it again while in the on postion, and now its gone back into hiding. Also low fuel light is on and gas gauge not working. this was working yesterday. it's got 1/2 tank.
