Default Battery dies quick. With engine off.

92 accord lx 2door auto.
Battery is a reman about 1 and a half years old.

Today I had the ignition to the on position so I could have the heater/interior fans blowing. But engine off.

They were on for about 5 mins and it drained my battery so much that it dimmed my dash lights and I can't get my car to start.

Is this normal? Does the blower motor draw that much current? Do I need a new battery? Do I have another draw somewhere? Could my aftermarket stereo and amp be pulling that current even tho I wasn't using them? Although still powered on...

Thanks

Try a new battery and go from there. Doesn't sound right. You might have a parasitic draw while the car sits overnight. You can use a DMM and start pulling fuses til that huge parasitic draw number on you DMM drops to zero. That will lead you to the right circuit to find the culprit.
