I have a 2000 Honda Accord EX v-6

I recently lost my key sans didn’t have a backup. I looked online and saw of a wart to bypass the Immobilizer that said to remove ECU and solder connectors. This was after I dismantled the steering wheel to get at all the key parts. I put everything back together deciding not to go that route. Then I plugged the OBD reader in and now the OBD connector isn’t working.. OBD WORKS IN MY OTHER CAR THOUGH, so know it’s not that. Any ideas? I can’t get a new key programmed with that not working.
