JDM ITR 98 spec fuel injector spec
So my JDM ITR DB8 98 spec is ~130,000 km on the clock. I reckon it would be a nice time for me to replace the fuel injectors as preventive maintenance.
When I look into the parts diagram, the JDM B18C fuel injector part number is 06164-P72-010, and UK/US/EUDM models are 06164-P2J-000.
Unfortunately, the JDM 06164-P72-010 is discontinued. Yet, 06164-P2J-000 seems to be still in production, according to Amayama.
I've done some research in this forum, yet there are many disputes regarding the spec difference between the JDM and UK/US/EUDM injector, mainly the 290cc vs 240cc respectively.
But most of the threads were back in the '00s. So are there any new updates now, regarding the differences?
Since I just wanna replace the injector without messing up the fuel system and performance.
Any help is much appreciated.

You can pick up replacement injectors and Oriellys or Advance but will most likely be special order. They are still available. Make sure you get the correct injector for the TypeR. 1/2 the folks that work in the parts industry are idiots so make sure you ensure they order the correct part if you go the counter.
On another note you can also send in your injectors to get tested and cleaned. There are several companies that provide this service.

New fuel injectors really aren't necessary unless the ones that you have are experiencing some problems. I agree that having them professionally cleaned and flow tested is all that is necessary from a preventative maintenance standpoint. Buying a new set really isn't necessary. Incidentally, all DOHC VTEC "B" series engines use a 240cc fuel injector. The 06164-P72-010 part number is identical to those found in the USDM GSR engine. This means that the JDM and USDM fuel injectors are the same part number... and thus, the same size. 240cc.
06164-P72-010 is a 240cc Injector, there are no 290cc ITR injectors, for the love of ffs, please people, stop with this 290cc JDM injector bs.
Also, I have a set of 06164-P72-010 Oem Honda Injectors in my B18C5 right now, and guess what, they flow 240cc.
The 'MiraiZ' posts are long over, and I've seen so many of these JDM ITR injector posts, I actually retrieved my password just to come back on here and say this (I have not been active on HT on well over a decade, the amount of ads here now are literally absurd), for the last time, there is no JDM ITR 290cc injector, even on the 11:1 Compression motors, I've called Acura and Honda myself and have friend who work at the Honda plant here in Ohio in Marysville and they've all said exactly the same thing, even MiraiZ who bought a JDM ITR new had Top Fuel tell him the same thing.
Sorry for the rant, but the amount of times I've seen this topic come up on this site alone (as well as Team Integra, Honda Swap, Etc), is just absurd at this point.

Correct. The extra fuel flow came from the B18C5 having an extra .5bar of fuel pressure via the regulator. The injectors are still 240cc @ 3bar.

Also thank you for this info Adam - I put one of these CBR 945RR regulators on my R motor since my old regulator was showing its age. Works like a a top and happy to still be able to find valuable info on here.
