00 Civic Auto Shifts Really High in RPM's after Replacing Cylinder Head
Hi all, I replaced my cylinder head with another one that i had laying around for a while from a D16Y8 from a 2000 Civic. I decided to refresh the head with new seals and gaskets as well as lapping the valves. I pieced everything together and compression tested in which i got 180 on all cylinders. This is the first time doing a valve job and installing the cam's. Not sure if i screwed something up as the cylinder head has kind of a rattling noise. The other issue i am having is the Shifts in gears are staying in the revs for a long time. If i gas it hard the shifts wont change gears until about 5-6k RPM's. This was not the case on the previous head. Even normal driving the shifts are weird and wont shift till about 4k. What did i do wrong?
