Default Lifted 2005 Honda CR-V won’t align

I have a 2005 Honda CR-V EX AWD that has kyb front struts. I lifted it, using Dobinsons front springs. I also put in kyb front strut mounts. The damn thing pulls right and alignment shop says they can’t align the problem away. Questions:

1.The Dobinsons springs don’t index like the original springs into that end groove/depression in the upper spring seat cushion. So i rotated the cushion but kept the upper spring seat indexed normally. Could that cause a right pull?

2. I bought new kyb strut mounts and was told they fit either right or left side - no difference. But when I got them, both had a big white “R” along with an arrow etched into the steel. Anyone else have experience with kyb strut mounts? If Amazon sent me some other strut mount that was specific for the right side, installing one on the left could cause the pull, right?

3. any other suggestions? If my upper spring seat index is off by more than 8 degrees (specs from service manual) could that cause a pull?

im losing my s&@t over this. I’ve disassembled the struts twice to try reindexing the upper seat and that’s tough work. I have camber bolts so camber is good.

Show us the alignment printout. The strut tops are left and right for most of Hondas McPherson strut front ends.

im glad you asked because my wife was the one who actually took the car in and it was to a local mom and pop tire place (we live in a small town); they didn’t even give her a print out. It might be worth trying ntb. And I replaced the strut mounts last time with Monroe’s, which had a specific left part number, right part number. Those worked just fine. I just disassembled the driver side strut (for the third time) and pulled off the kyb mounts to compare with my worn out Monroe driver side mount; they look identical. Another set of Monroe mounts arrive tomorrow so I’ll try those and if they solve the problem I’m going to ask kyb for a refund. Thank god I kept my oem upper spring seats.

Try reaching out to Miguel. He has an Element with KYB’s and has experience with them. I know it’s not a CRV but he would know. Here’s his link. He’s also on Instagram.
