Default 91 CRX Si motor mounts

I don't know if this question has been asked before, probably has, but after searching I haven't found an answer.

A while back, I put a 88-91 SOHC ZC engine in a 91 CRX. I decided to install Hasport mounts because I was having problems with where the engine was sitting in the bay using stock mounts - looked like it was too far to the right and the CV joints were stretched causing them to fail. With the new mounts on and pushing the engine as far to the left as I can, the driver's side mount will not line up to get the bolt thru, it's about half an inch or so short. The Hasport set doesn't come with a front mount, so I left the stock one on. Do I need to delete the front mount to get this to work? That's my best guess at this point. Normally I'd just try that and find out, but I just don't have the time or space to play around with it these days.

Thanks for any help,
-LC

Normally most aftermarket mounts only have the rear and 2 side mounts.. you don't really need the front if you have hasports..

you still need to run the front mount even if you have Hasport mounts

are you sure the ZC engine you put in was 88-91 obd0? and which transmission are you using?
ive not heard of problems with ZC engines such as you are describing but anything is possible. did you send pictures with your email when i responded back to you?

unfortunately if you were having problems with the way it was in there with factory mounts swapping those out for Hasport mounts isnt going to solve the problem as the Hasport mounts are direct replacement for factory mounts.
Hasport mounts arent going to place the engine in the engine bay any differently than the factory ones

I ended up getting it to work, just a matter of re-installing them with the driver's side mount first. Has worked great so far, and the original front mount is still on. Appreciate your help,
