Default Need new transmission, which is better, rebuilt, new or used?

My 02 honda with a little over 108,000 needs a transmission. First major issue we have had. But what do we choose? Which is better? More cost effective? A new, used or rebuilt one? And any recommendations on where we could go to buy one that may be a cheaper option and have it installed?

New - Good luck finding one.

Rebuilt - 100% depends on how well it was rebuilt and the quality of the parts used.

Used - Very likely will fail again, just a matter of time.
