Icon5 Air Conditioning Woes

85 degrees out and my 2010 odyssey touring decides to blow hot air in my face along with my wife and two kids who are under two years. HELP!!!

Here's what this dummy has done so far (I'm a car klutz): I checked the 7.5 ac clutch fuse, checked the A/C relay fuse and listened to see if the compressor is turning off and on. It is.

Tried adding freon. Here's where I was a little confused. The freon reader was moving up and down when the car was running. When the car was off it read all the way up into the red. I apologize to everyone for this part: a guy at advanced auto parts told me to let some air out and feel if it's cold or not. He said it might have a bunch of hot air stuck in the system. I did this and indeed the air was hot. So I let out the pressure and tried to recharge the system one more time. Once again, same exact result. The meter was reading up and down while car was running and on red when it was not. Also checked one more time and hot air continued to blow out when I released the pressure.

The compressor is turning on and off about every 3-4 seconds when the car is running and I thought that was odd. Seems as if something is causing it to go haywire but I have no idea what that might be...

My helper said maybe A/C switch but then basically said he really doesn't know he's helped me as much as possible. Will anyone who knows about this please help me out to save me a $1,000 mechanic bill and save my kids from burning up in my burgundy (extra hot) moving sauna?

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
