2000 Accord 2.3L 5MT about 190k
Just got the car from my cousin. The last 2-3 years he hardly drove it and just sat on the driveway. On top of the engine bay(the left side) under the distro there was some leakage. I think the the radiator hose, but there was oil leakage as well. So I lifted the car and went under it. The whole bottom was covered with slugged and I cleaned it up. I noticed there was a bunch of micro cracks on the transmission. Not sure if that was the caused of the leakage. Also noticed a gap as well. Not sure if that is normal. It does not look bent, damaged, from a crack or anything but it does NOT look normal.

Can someone help me out here?

 

Those are not cracks. They are casting marks. Looks 100% normal.

 

Thanks, scared me when I saw this. I asked other people as well and they said the same thing.
