2000 CR-V shuts off intermittently
Hi all, first time long time. I've got a 2000 CR-V that I've been having an issue with for a while now and I can't seem to figure out what it is. It'll stall out on me at idle, and it feels like it's sputtering a bit like it's losing fuel, but then I'll be on the highway doing 70 and it'll cut the throttle and start downshifting until it gets to a certain speed, at which point it shuts off. It'll also shut off immediately if I put it in neutral. I've already replaced the fuel pump and filter, plugs and wires, initially the coil and ICM but just last night the entire dizzy after finding out the crank position sensor I bought is actually the flux sensor. I've checked the ignition switch and it seems to be fine, and there's no recall for the switch on mine. Also, no CEL except for the code for my catalytic converter, which I no longer have. It got plugged up and I had it cut and straight piped, the issue started just before that. The EFI main relay is clicking when I turn the key on and when I go to try and start it, so I've ruled that out. I don't know if I'm getting spark or fuel since it shuts off usually at a very inconvenient time, and most of the time the issue disappears after a few minutes, so it's hard to properly diagnose it. I could really use some help with this one. I've got a used ECM coming in Tuesday, other than that I don't know what else to try, aside from maybe the cam position sensor.
