H22A4 swap in 97 Accord LX need correct axles
I just swapped my CD7 Accord with a H22A4 from a 97 prelude type SH. I'm looking for which one is the correct axle to use. Right now I have the stock F series half shaft but the holes don't line up to the holes on the back of the block. Is there someone who's done this swap that can help with some knowledge bombs on which combo of axles are the right ones to use. Trying to get it drivable this weekend
That engine is not compatible with any chassis other than a Prelude SH. Should have done your research. The block casting is different to accommodate the ATTS system the Prelude has.
You are looking at fabricating a custom mount for the intermediate shaft to bolt to the block, or replacing the engine with one that has a standard casting.
