Default Fob issues

I have a 2008 accord that I just bought and the Fob wasn't working. Replaced the battery and still didn't work so I went through the reprogramming process (turn car on hit lock several times). The fob did connect and work at that moment. I left and came back later and the car didn't recognize the Fob (wouldn't unlock the car). I unlock the car with the key, which "wakes up the car" and then the car recognized the Fob and I could lock and unlock the car with the Fob. If I waited for a few minutes then the car didn't recognize the fob again. Any help would be great
Thanks

Check under-dash Fuse No. 15 (10A) and Driver's side under-dash Fuse No. 24 (20A).

I checked both of those and those fuses are okay. So not sure what the problem could be.
