Icon5 Help with an 88' Crx throttle lag

Hey guys! I have an 88’ CRX SI that I just did a MPFI swap on. I’m using a PM6 ECU with a d15B2. all stock besides: some rewiring, catless exhaust and an air intake. My question is that when I accelerate, there is a slight whistle from the throttle body and lag with the acceleration. It’s worse on a cold start and sometimes will straight up kill it. If anyone has an ideas please let me know! Thank you!

Would it be stupid to think vacuum leak? Have you removed the dashpot (if it would even matter)?
Assuming you’ve ruled out slack in the cable? Lol

No not at all. I pretty much thought the same thing, but I've been checking hoses and haven't found any leaks. It just started to do that after the swap.

and I'm really sorry about the confusion, I fat fingered my number pad and put a 9 instead of a 6. so its a pm6 ecu not a pm9

I would go over any rewired spots just to give a look and just give the engine harness a good once over. How is your fuel filter?
