Door handle swap for key delete
A sneek peek!
I am wondering if anyone has used the rear door handles from a 88-91 4 door sedan on their doors to delete the key hole and if they bolt in the same? I am almost done restoring and building my crx and knowing you can use almost any honda key to open these cars I want to get rid of the key hole and install power door locks.
Got too much into the car and want to make it near impossible to steal. I already have the detachable steering wheel, ecu programmed immobilizer and alarm. Going to make a hidden kill switch aswell..

It works, it's as straightforward as just omitting the lock rod when replacing the handle.

Thanks for searching. Post pics when you do it so others will see.

I'm in the UK & have used Rover 200 rear handles to de-lock mine. Sedan rears should work but I'm unsure what the rear of them are like. These need a very light trim on one of the mounts on the back but other than that they're a straight fit.

Looks good 👍 kicking myself I didn't grab the handles a long time ago when there were plenty. Can't find any around my area now but when I do and get around to it, I'll post pics of the process with how mine were done.
