anyone know anything about the aerospeed front mounted cold air intake ? im considering purchasing it , can anyone help me out ?

This intake is horrible, it is not effective and will cause you much grief when you meet anyone, you will be ridiculed. Best intakes: J's Racing, Comptech Icebox, good oh AEM... Dont waist your money on anything else

save your cash and make your own intake with mandrel bent piping and a good K&N filter. There are a lot of sites that show the how to.

I have to laugh at that!
But, I don't see anything wrong with a loud exhaust / super white light headlights. Yes, when all the lights are superwhite and you add the LED lights, it does start looking ricey.

 

i know a kid who had that he said"it is the worst mod he ever purchaesd" it was a pain in the *** because the cover didnt really stop water from getting into the filter he said it was quality built but designed poorely

 

not a good question to ask in here..but i think uve got the general idea its not on the best buy list..but, the guys in ricer nation will think its a IC since they re too dumb to know the difference

 

what is the big deal about asking a question about a cold air intake . i knew it wasnt a intercooler , i just thought i would ask about it b/c i havent heard anything on it , but any way thanks for the feedback .

nothing wrong with asking bro....just dont waste your money....trust me, you'll regret it when you hydrolock your engine or get a rock slammed into the paper filter of that thing....just go with something else---i made my own aluminized steel CAI for under $50 including filter-----

 

That item is as effective as the "Tornado" is in increasing HP and fuel mileage.

Just say no to the front mount air intake from Arospeed.
