01 Accord won't start
My 01 Accord won't start. It will turn over and run for about a second at 2500 rpm. If I give it gas it'll rev to about 3500-4000 RPM and then die. I read a few forums and replaced the MAP sensor, which did not change anything. It has gas, and it will run on Carb Cleaner. I believe it is getting fuel to the rail. Any thoughts? I know the timing is correct between the head and the block. Thanks so much.
Look at the wire harness that is attached to where you stick the key in, might be melted. If it is its a cheap easy fix. Might also need fuel relay, you can pull the relay off and take the casing off and if there's any cracks around the soldier it won't get proper connection. Peace out.
Thanks, sorry for the late reply. Threw a CPS code and replaced that but now no spark at all. Start-up sounds healthier tho. Throws vtec code P1256, but I don't think that matters. Do I need to relearn the crank position sensor? Thanks.
