hi guys i hope im posting in the right place if not i do apologize. i have a 88 hatch and i have a 90-91 European manual cluster that i would like to swap in. before we do anything i have literally spent a week searching all the forums i could find. so before you get on your high horse and tell me to search i have and no pics still show up and all hyper links are dead. edm and jdm and

usdm 88-89 and 90-91 are different and once in those you add STD/dx and Si/Sir into it those have variations also withing the hatch/sedan crx differences. i have found all this to be fact. so if any one out there has a pic or a pin out of this cluster i would appreciate it so freaking much. it looks square in this picture like it would be the crx one but itsnot its just the angle its the big rounded one from 90-91 so yeah if any has the info for a EDM STD 88 hatch cluster id be ever so greatful. and if you ever come to tampa ill buy you a beer

 

Flip both clusters over.

Trace the circuit board from the usdm and the edm.

All of your indicator lights will just need to be moved to the appropriate location.

RPM is similar.

Speedometer is still cable.

the rest is just ground and power for cluster lights and circuit completion.

I did this back in 2005 with my 88 crx and a GSR cluster. Everything worked except for the speedometer, which I did an electronic VSS conversion and then it worked.
