Default Coolant leak from timing cover

My Honda civic leak coolant from timing cover when i turn on the heater. It started two days when I turn on the heater it was blowing normal air and the temperature started rise. Checked the coolant level and found it lost almost 1.5L coolant. Same thing happened next day as soon as I turn on the heater the temperature started rising and lost coolant. If I l dont turn on the heater there is no leak. The radiator was changed couple of months ago. It;s old car and spending money on the timing belt and water pump is not worth it.
Your help to resolve this issue much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

That is where the water pump leaks when the internal seal fails. Probably not far from complete failure. I wouldn't recommend running the engine, if the water pump comes apart the timing belt also lets go and then the pistons eat the valves.

I changed the timing belt and water pump along with both auxiliary belts, however there is noise when starting the car in the morning. also when accelerating and and turning on the ac. When it warm the noise is not much noticeable except when ac on. Spoke to the mechanic and he said it due to new belt. He loosen the ps and alternator belt but still there is noise. Car also hard to start when cold.
is this something to do incorrect tension on timing belt or the auxiliary belt need to loosen more.
