Honda Civic 2009 [Brake is spongy]
Hello guys
after the traffic, brake pedal goes spongy and response was 0,turned off the ignition and than started again,pedal was back to normal,no leaks,fluid level was ok
PS : brake pads have noise
please help,thank you

if brakes are making noise, the first step would be to inspect them. are they squealing cause they are too low and need replaced? the shims in good shape, maybe grease the pins and the calioer braket contact points. I cant see any of that making them feel spongy. are any of the bleeder valves loose and maybe took in some air? or did the reservoir get too low at one point and some air got into the system? maybe get a buddy to help hold the brakes while you bleed them. maybe get down there and check out the pedal assembly, make sure everything is good and tight. last thing I would do after that is check for a vacuum leak? or an engine code that states that.
