Default 01 crv 0420 code

Have 01 crv with a 0420 code. Replaced the catalytic converter, both 02 sensors and code keeps coming back. The catalytic converter I bought was a cheaper one. Could that be the issue ? Thoughts

Try inserting a spacer on the rear O2. If you have a scanner, the reading should not fluctuate a lot at idle.

Thanks for the reply. I drilled out a non fouler to space the O2 sensor. The O2 sensor is know flush with the end of the fouler. Is that to much ? Took it out for a drive but the 0420 code came back.

If the fouler did not work, you need anew cat. Get the ones approved for California emissions much better.
