Default Buzzing sound in steering wheel when i turn the key

Sometimes when i try and start my Civic i get buzzing sound in the steering wheel and the car doesn't start, ill try again and the car will start right up. Are there any buzzers in the steering wheel that are trying to notify of something or is there some wires shorting out in my steering wheel/ steering column?

Also, if something is shorting out... should i worry about the airbag blowing up in my face?

The buzzing sound is from the starter cut relay located in the under-dash fuse/relay box. However, the issue usually is caused by a faulty ignition switch (electrical portion) at the steering column.
