Default Strange question concerning knock sensor

Hello all,

The other day I got a check engine light, scanned the code, it says knock sensor. So, I order a replacement. The one that arrives looks like this:
https://www.carparts.com/details/Hon...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
It's green and square-ish.

But when I got under the car, the original sensor looked like this:
https://www.autozone.com/engine-mana...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
Round and black.

So, I went to the junkyard to have a look at some other Hondas, and they all seem to be the round type. However, every once in a while I would find a square one. All stores I looked at to buy one show the green square one.

The question is....does that make any difference? For the moment, I simply cut the end off the connector, and using one from the junk yard, I just soldered on the end and then plugged it into my new sensor.

The second question is....is this a JDM/non-JDM thing?

Finally, does it matter what knock sensor I get this from if it's close? Meaning, I picked up a couple from the junkyard that are round, ranging from a CRV, an Odyssey, and a civic all around the same years roughly.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.
