2008 Ridgeline Guages jitter at start, washer fluid motor won't run, etc
I have a 2008 Honda Ridgeline. Left something on which killed the battery. Charged the battery and now the gauges jitter rapidly when I first start the truck. Lasts about 2-3 seconds and then stops. I had the battery replaced entirely today and the gauges are still jittery. Also, the door lock/unlock doesn't work unless the truck is all the way on. Key fob remote doesn't work at all, even after a reset. Accessory (cig lighter looking things) have no power and the windshield washer motor doesn't work. I have looked at every fuse I can think of that might have blown to cause all these things to not work and have come up with nothing. Any ideas? Please help! Thanks!
Sounds like an issue with the multiplex integrated control unit (MICU) built into the under-dash fuse/relay box.
Re-check various fuses in the under-dash fuse box, such as Fuse No. 7 (7.5A), Fuse No. 8 (20A), Fuse No. 21 (7.5A), and Fuse No. 32 (7.5A).

That was it! I believe it was number 8, which had a weird name and I didn't think it was relevant to the issue so I hadn't checked it before. When I replaced the fuse, the gauges jittered without the key in the ignition, then stopped. When I turned on the truck no jittering! I was also able to reprogram the remote and now the doors lock and unlock properly. The windshield washer motor still doesn't work, but that's for future me to worry about. Thanks a million! You saved me a lot of money!!
Good to hear.
For the windshield washer fluid motor, if the wipers work but the washer motor doesn't; then check under-dash Fuse No. 20 (7.5A).
