2001 Honda Civic 1.7 VTEC. This car has me at wits end! The check engine light does not work at all even though it has two codes. I pulled the dash cluster to see if someone pulled the bulb only to discover the CEL is an LED. I don't see any wires messed with and the ECM fuse is good. I tried resetting the ECM. I need to get it smogged and don't know how to proceed.

 

Try a normal T bulb as see if it works. Pretty sure the OEM bulb for the CEL was not LED.
