97 integra gsr ecu
I recently bought a 1997 integra gsr that needs a new ecu. I was told i should buy a socketed hondata s300v3 p72 with a jumper. I’m honestly not too knowledgeable on ecu’s but i wanted the best possible ecu i could get disregarding the price as the one I mentioned goes for $900 on ebay. Would this ecu be the best for my car if i plan on doing lots of modifications to my engine?
I have a new never been used P28 Ecu with Hondata S300 on it. All work done by Phearable which is a well reputable company. Message me if you are interested, it’s been sitting in my laundry room collecting dust on the box.
If you plan to mod the engine especially a turbo you will need the S300 V3. the V2 will work but its a bit older.
With the S300 you can upload a stock GSR base map from the vault, they have tons of free maps to choose to get your engine running. You might find a GSR map with basic bolt ons and use that to drive around instead of buying a stock gsr ecu and have no tuning functions available. Then when your ready you can have the engine tuned.
I would buy this if its the V3 because i was about to recommend sending a message to Pheriable to purchase one from them.
