Hey all.
I would like to introduce Hiro my 1965 honda t500.
He's 99% complete for parts. Just a few little annoying things i may struggle to find lol.
Original engine etc, as original as can in its entirety.
P. S sign is there incase the wife sees it before i tell her about it. 😂
Imported to United kingdom 4 yrs ago ish and stored since.
Well i've now got it up and running! see the video attached...
next will be to drive it locally to get it up to temperature, check everything, good rundown and likely find a few more bits i need to address
A few little updates.
made a exhaust manifold as you cant buy them. Long term plan is to find a clean S600/800 manifold.
New 12v fuel pump installed.
Found a spark plug cover for sale in Japan.. blasted it and painted.
Refurbished the clutch and brake master cylinder brackets. Blasted and ceramicoated. Clutch master was dead so found a modern equivalent to same spec etc.
Upgraded my clutch line for a Hel performance braided setup. 😁
Few little updates.
Truck went into storage as I've temporarily moved to Canada for work.
I managed to source a NOS repo heater unit from japan. Came with all fittings and items needed.
I managed to strip the rear diff down and replace seals and bearings. Repainted it etc too!
Cleaned up the transmission casing too.
