05 Accord V6 EX clunking and jerking when shifting
2005 Accord V6 EX 5 speed automatic with 159,000 miles
I’m experiencing some jerking on the up shift from 2nd to 3rd and a clunk when downshifting from 2nd to 1st. I just changed the motor mounts, it’s made the problem a bit better but I’m still experiencing it. Along with the clunk there is a noticeable feeling of resistance and an rpm flare when jerking during the upshift. My transmission fluid is the correct level and looks good it’s not burnt and has no metal shavings or signs of failure.
I’m thinking the issue is the CV axels since they’re OEM and likely haven’t been replaced since the car was new. My next suspicion would be the transmission solenoids maybe sending the incorrect signals and making the car shift at the wrong time. Any feedback would be appreciated, let me know if anyones had any similar issues.
