Crx Mini me limp mode no CEL
Hello I have a mini me Y8 head turbo CRX, ECU Chipped P28. And it won’t rev pass 3500 rmp, it is not giving any CEL codes, dizzy is good, timing is good and map,tps and iddle sensors are good. What could the problem be?
With a chip, it could be anything from boost cut to temp sensor to lambda. Unless you have some data, you are just guessing. Who would know what kind of protections are in the tune without actually seeing the tune.
Edit: One really simple thing it may be, if you have a MPH two step engaged, if the speed sensor is not connected, the engine may be set to a 3500RPM limiter.

I would recommend getting an S300 so you can see what the car is doing. That or your options is to pull the chip, putting it on an EPROM burner, pull the tune, putting that into an antique editor and seeing what is configured. Then find an empty chip, save your edit, burn the chip and resocket it. None of that sounds fun because I did it for years. I don't love Hondata but it is better than that.
Also, as I said in my edit above, check that the speed sensor is connected.

Agree with @TacoCat - quick check is making sure your VSS is providing signal to the ECU. After that, you'll have to look at what the tune is doing. I haven't burned an EPROM in 17 years, and I don't miss it.
