2002 Accord po700 code
I just had the transmission pulled out and had to rear main seal replaced because it was leaking just before that I took her to the car wash washed it off and right after that I had shifting problems I don't have it now while I'm driving but I still get the piece 700 error code and I've cleared it once but it's coming back again. Can I go to the junkyard and pick up a different one will that work or how do I fix this
by whom? you have a transmission code after someone removed and reinstalled your transmission which you did not have before. sounds like they need to finish the job or fix the issue they created. If it's a reputable shop or shade-tree with decent morals you won't be paying any extra.

I washed motor and trans off before going to shop to try to figure out where oil was coming from. Right after I did that I had a lightOn the dash one of the drive lights was on and it had issues shifting. Then quit. Was thinking I got something to wet. Trans shifts and runs fine down the road no issues. Just not sure why code is on? Read where it was jus a generic code and could be several issues. Trans was rebuilt maybe 110,000 on it
