After scouring the web and the forums I know the SIZE (240cc) is the same, but I noticed the nozzles and filters aren’t. At least not the ones I received.
I have a dead injector and another one with cracks on my ‘99 LS so ordered a new set of SMP FJ581’s from Rockauto that are supposed to be for LS, GS, GSR trims. I received 4 FJ443’s (with FJ581 on the boxes) which is for the Type R.
My question is will this create a problem if I use the Type R injectors with my LS since it appears the nozzles and filters are different?
just wondering if it’s worth the hassle to return the damn things back to RockAuto as I’ve had to only once before and it was a PITA and don’t want to wait forever to get my money back. If someone knows for a fact it’s a non-issue I’ll put them in and move on. Just don’t want to attempt to use them then can’t return them at $65/each.
Re: Ordered LS Injectors, received ITR. Will it work?
Yeah the plugs do look the same. I read though that the pulse width is different from LS/GS/GSR versus the Type R. If the ECU determines pulse width then I should be fine with my stock P75 ECU.. right? 😂
