Help please. Would anyone here know where I can purchase a good tool to compress the valve springs? They have them for "B" series but not for "D" series. Thanks in advance...

 

I've had success with a tool like this one when I replaced valve seals on my D16: https://www.ebay.com/itm/224249046237

Although I can't remember right now where I bolted the brackets to, may have used the cam cap bolts for those. Best of luck!

 

I just bought this one. Seems to work pretty good. To remove the retainers just use a rubber mallet and socket to hit the springs. The retainers will pop right off

 

DID IT MYSELF WITHOUT A SPECIAL TOOL SUPER EASY. HERES THE LINK (deep 15mm socket and a little circle magnet)
