Default Honda Accord ex 6 cylinder

Hi I am looking for some advice I recently had problems with my car misfiring and I took it to the shop they changed out all my coils and gave me new spark plugs. I have had to go back and change the coils on this car 3 times all within a few weeks. They would change them and then the car after about 3 weeks to a month would start jumping (like the engine) what could be the problem. The coils keep going bad and I keep telling them that something else is wrong. What are some things that I can do or will have to get done to fix it. Any one can give me any type of help I would appreciate it I’m a girl and this is my first car 😞

I highly doubt that your coils keep going bad. First off what year is your Accord?

Do you know the maintenance service of this vehicle?

Do you know the last time the timing belt and valve clearance adjustments where done?

Did your shop mention valve adjustments, if not find a new shop.

it’s a 2002 Honda Accord not sure what was the maintenance before I got it but it was kept up pretty well had all of the parts from 2002 in the car I have had a lot of work done since then and I recently was told it needed a tune up and got it.

they did not mention any thing about valve adjustments or the timing belt 😞

I told them my coils can’t just keep going out or going bad and the man who they fired didn’t believe me.
