The driver seat in my 91 Hatch sits pretty much fully reclined because the metal assembly is broken (see attached images). The seat moves up and down with the lever, but reclines when you rest your back on it. Is there any way to replace the metal components while keeping the same seat? My seat is in good condition and I would hate to throw a new seat in since mine visually still looks good. I couldnt find any threads on this, sorry if this is a repeat post. Any advice would be awesome! Thanks in advance.
Awesome, I was thinking of getting a donor seat to practice as I dont wanna destroy my current seat. Ill look into getting a new adjuster, thanks dude!

a new one is pretty expensive - $143.96 from Honda, if they are still available - just get an old seat from a junkyard? and switch out the reclining adjuster - bolts to the seat cushion and seat back with two bolts in each

Do you think the Sedan assemblies are compatible? I know the parts are very similar, there is only one EF Hatch nearby at my local pick-your-part, there is also one Sedan farther away.
