2nd gen CR-V squeaking on the 2nd drive of each day
My wife’s 2006 CRV SE seems to squeak on the second (or third, 4th, etc) drive of a day. First drive, no squeaking.
The squeak comes from the front of the car. It happens when driving on any bumps or irregularities in a road. It’s pretty much nonstop squeaking on many residential roads where we live.
Any thoughts? I’ve tried replacing/greasing sway bar bushings. Not sure if that’s it. Shocks are aftermarket kyb. Whoever worked on the car in the past didn’t do great work, so it could maybe be something like a bushing that was tightened with the wheels off the ground.
