Default Using the car without blower motor resistor

Hey my friends.

I need to travel to Miami today and my car‘s AC does not work. I don’t want to pay advance auto 50 bucks for a resistor That I can find for 15 bucks on Amazon.

What if I just uninstall the blower motor resistor? Does it damage the engine/electricity of the car?

Thank you so much.

With the blower control setting at the highest speed, it bypasses the resistor. So, there is no need to uninstall the resistor if you wanted to have the blower motor running.
