Hey y’all so I got an automatic 97 Honda Accord se for free with some minor problems. Ended up doing a manual tranny swap from an h22 and one day eventually swap it all h22.
so upon further review with my car. It had a ten prong distributor with all 4 misfires. So I went to the junk yard to do some research and found out that it was the wrong distributor. The person who had the car before me added a dizzy to connect to obd1. So I ended up adding the original parts that where to it. And it still not starting. I ended up doing the crankshaft sensor because it was cut off on the wires and I figured it would solve my problem but no I had to go get a different part from pic a part
that I don’t even really know what it’s called but I have pics I’ve taken from google. But the main question is what is the other sensor connected for the crankshaft sensor since there was two sensors on it. And what is the next thing I need to grab for it to work now. Sorry if none of this **** makes sense. Doesn’t even make sense to me
The later 96-97 OBD2 F22B1/2 engines used the crankshaft / oil pump mounted TDC and CKP sensors. For these two sensors you will need the timing belt and balancer belt pulleys from a 95-97 F22B1/2 engine as they have the teeth that are required for the TDC and CYP signals.
