98 Odyssey Spindle Swap Question
The 98 VTEC spindles have the ball joint pressed in prior to having the wheel bearing pressed in. It's a lot of extra work to do ball joint changes on these vehicles. I'm wondering if I can swap to a different Honda model front spindle. Maybe an Accord? Something that has bolt on bearings.
Is there all that much difference in them? Would it affect the ride quality by using a different model? Also, what changes need to be made to the spindle for the ABS to work? That is, if there is an option to swap.
