Default How many miles is too many miles?

I'm looking at buying a 1997 CRV with 250k miles for $3000.
My main question is will it last me on road-trips/
highway miles?
Context: It's being sold by a family who has
owned it the entire time and taken good care of it.
They've passed it down 3 generations but now
the guy owning it has another car and it's in
storage.

He's done a lot to it, I'll just copy the list he gave
me:
97 crv all wheel drive, freshly painted with a
custom paint I made!, replaced majority of parts
with oem! New drive shaft, struts, coils, upper
and lower control arms, spark plugs, new battery,
new oil gasket, valve adjustment, trans flushed,
new differential, no leaks, put a new cowl in and
sealed it, brand new headlights, new pigtails and
led headlights, new window regulators! Have all
the paper work for all the work I've done on it! It
has 248k miles on it, straight piped so 02 sensor
code shows! Still starts first try! Has really good
heat and ac! Everything works in it! Been in the
family for a couple generations!

Also he is getting the water pump & timing belt
replaced before I buy it!

Any advice welcome!!!

sounds like it should go another 250k if you continue with taking care of it. what’s this custom paint he did to it look like?
