Icon5 Does my plan to paint my 97' Integra look alright?

Getting ready to paint my car, need some advice.

I'm getting ready to paint my '97 Integra. Looks like it's been poorly resprayed at some point in it's life, and its shine has completely faded. I decided to do the body work and paint it myself, and in doing that I have no expectations in getting a perfect result, just something decent that I can afford and be happy with.

My current plan of attack is this:

Note: I won't be mentioning it but obviously wash, degrease, etc. intermittently.
  1. Remove the doors, fender, hood, spoiler, and anything that can be painted off the car. This is in an effort to make the process a little easier in my garage and get better coverage.
  2. Sand the car down with 220, followed by 400, followed by 600 to scuff the surface and get it ready for primer.
  3. Spot repair dents by sanding down to metal, applying self etching primer, bondo and then sand to match the rest of the body.
  4. Apply 2k Urethane Primer surfacer.
  5. Sand Primer Surfacer.
  6. Apply Basecoat
  7. Apply Clear
  8. Wetsand, cut and polish any imperfections in paint.
I don't want to have to sand down to metal, and I've read people mention that I shouldn't have to unless there's heavy corrosion. Should I be sanding down to bare metal for the dents and dings I'm fixing with filler?

Also am I making a mistake in not using an epoxy primer? If I should be using one, at what stage in my process should I be spraying it? Should I be using a dedicated sealer? Does a sealer negate the need to use an epoxy primer?

Please pick apart my method, welcome to any advice or criticisms. Like I said, I don't expect perfection but still want it to come out to the best of my abilities.

if it has been painted poorly before, then removal of top coat may be needed. may get away with a scuff and sealer.
as far as the filler goes, sand area to bare metal then apply the filler.
