2014 Accord FCW Failure, LDW Failure, Check Engine, & power steering lights on
Today when I started my car I was greeted with the FCW Failure & LDW Failure message on my console and my power steering & check engine light was on.
I needed to pick my Fiance up so I still drove to get her. Power steering worked fine and the car was driving normally. Because of that my assumption was there was an issue with my car's computer system and the errors were not physical in nature. After doing some research I couldn't find any real solutions and others who have had this issue and brought their car in to the dealership were met with mostly techs saying they weren't sure what the issue is, or making repairs only to have the issue arise again.
Because my first thought was a computer issue I thought I would fully reboot the system. The best way to do this completely disconnects the battery and wait for a minute. I also pressed the start button on my car to completely drain the system (not sure if this is necessary but it is what I did)
After reconnecting the battery and starting the car the problem was resolved.
I hope this helps anyone else who experiences this issue!
Hey, I had this same issue a few weeks back after sucking up a little water in my cold air intake, it was showing all these codes and driving horrible, I changed out my intake back to stock and the codes all went away, a few days later I got a new intake filter and shield and the codes all came back again, narrowed it down to the MAF sensor not taking to the intake anymore and put everything back to stock.. no more lights. might want to check if there is any leaks in the intake system. start from there, Im waiting for a new intake to come and try that , but as of now I think my MAF sensor was damaged from moister, was the weather wet when this happened?
