What size brake lines does the 1978 Honda Civic have? One of the lines passenger rear has rusted through needs to be replaced.

I assume you mean the diameter. I don't know but it should be easy to find out. Most large auto supply shops let you choose the make, model and year and display what brake lines they have. I assume you are talking about the metal line that runs from the rubber line on the strut to the connector on the body, Correct? I got one of these a few years ago for my '76 without any problem. Search AUTOZONE, EBAY, etc.

 

I should add that having an automatic transmission has nothing to do with the brake lines. They are the same for manual trannys too.
