H22 engine swap is the only thing you will find in a yard that will help you make any meaningful amount of power.

you could look for an electric P/S pump from an MR2... that would free up some parasitic losses.

An H22 swap would be much easier than trying to get any power out of the current engine for the same price.

don't overlook the transmission. just swapping in a prelude transmission with your stock engine is going to feel like a power increase.

Agree. I put an Odyssey automatic in my 94 Accord when the trans gave out. Feels like a horsepower boost. And since I had to replace the trans anyway, I figured why not. It's great if you don't do a lot of highway driving. And not all that bad if you do. It just feels like you need one more gear.

Does that include the transmission and the ECU? And maybe some wiring?

You didn't say if your Accord was an auto or not. And the car the wrecking yard has was a straight drive? You are probably looking at a trans swap in your future. And from what I have heard the trans in the Gen 5 Prelude is something all to itself. You need to do a lot of research and thinking about the details of this swap before you lay down the money. You may end up with enough money in that swap to have done a K24.

If it's an H22A4 out of an SH prelude, it's useless to you.
