Default Clock not keeping Date/Time

I have a 2007 CR-V with the navigation system clock radio. About a month ago, the alternator went out and was replaced - it is working fine. However, ever since then, every time I start the car, the clock time defaults back to 6am, 01/01/2001. Normally, the clock self adjusts to whatever time zone I'm in, but now it never self-adjusts. I have manually adjusted the time via the settings menu, but the next time I start it, it defaults back to 6am, 01/01/2001. The odd part is that all of the preset radio stations are good - they do NOT get reset. Also, all the navigation addresses I have saved are also good - they do NOT get reset .... only the date/time gets reset. Any recommendations on things to try to correct this issue would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Default Re: Clock not keeping Date/Time

Search around a bit. It is a known programming issue with Honda Nav units of this generation. It was a Y2K style rollover bug that hit with the new year 2022.

There is currently no fix and no ETA from Honda.
